We are a family run business - Denis, Sheila and Andrew the son. The business began at Heddon-on-the-wall in 1972 with one Albion 16-ton vehicle at the cost of £4,066 complete. Two years later and we moved to new, larger premises at Newbrough near Hexham, in 1974, and soon expanded the fleet of vehicles. The current fleet of 7 environmentally friendly modern 8x4 tippers plated at 32 tons, are all kept to a high standard and painted in the distinctive colours of two-tone red and yellow. Northumberland has some of the best quality stone in England, so our main operation is within the north of England and southern Scotland carrying many different Aggregates and Tar for construction.
